The Fashion Forecast
Do you ever ask yourself “What should I wear today?” This summer, I coded an app called The Fashion Forecast using Javascript. The Fashion Forecast is a a generative AI-powered app that enables the user to upload their wardrobe and uses the user’s location to generate weather-based recommendations. I submitted my app to the App Store through the Apple Developer program.
Ziglet
One day, I left my school iPad in my locker and found I couldn’t access my homework assignments. So I used JavaScript to code a cloud-based productivity app called Ziglet to manage my tasks and homework. I managed to convince my entire class to use Ziglet, and they did for a while until our school started using Schoology which is cloud based.
Camp In A Box
During COVID, when my siblings’ and my summer camps were all cancelled, we decided to make Camp In A Box, a downloadable eight week camp curriculum featuring art, stem, music, and adventure themed activities. I created an e-commerce site with an automatic download feature. We sold over 200 copies of Camp In A Box, and made over 2000 dollars.
Amazon Shopper
During COVID, it was difficult for my parents to secure a grocery delivery slot on FreshDirect and Amazon Fresh, so I coded a script to run on both sites. Once a delivery slot would open up, it would send me a text message and I would quickly place a grocery order.
Dualitees
My Friend and I founded a drop shipping t-shirt company (i.e no inventory, and print on demand). The dual meaning t-shirts featured puns and sport sayings. It was a great learning lesson for me, because this company did not do so well (we sold 5 t-shirts). I learned that just because I built something, it didn’t mean that someone would necessarily buy it and because t-shirts are very common, I needed either a better concept or a strong brand to sell the t-shirts.
Salty Co.
I was inspired by the TikTok boy hair trend, but noticed all my friends use products that made their skin break out. So I interviewed beauty industry experts and wanted to create Salty, a non comedogic sea salt hair spray. I researched many names in the US patent and trademark office and came up with the name, Salty Co. However, when I called several contract manufacturers to develop the spray, they took my initial call but never followed up with price quotes. I learned that sometimes people have trouble taking a teenager seriously.
Kids in a Blanket
During COVID, my siblings and I created a podcast called Kids in a Blanket. We read children’s books by theme like books about animals, vehicles, and funny sounds. I produced the original music, cohosted the podcast, edited the episodes in GarageBand and published them across various platforms. I also secured some in-episode podcast advertising.

Readathon App
For my mitzvah project, I organized a readathon where I invited donors to donate any amount for each hour that my siblings and I read. All the proceeds went to books projects for classrooms in need on DonorsChoose.org. I coded a leaderboard to track how many hours were read and how many dollars were donated and I coded a donation page to capture all of the donations. We ended up raising over $5000 to fund over 1000 books for students.
Klean Key
During COVID, before we knew how the virus was spread, I invented Klean Key, a key that enabled anyone to open doors or touch surfaces without using your hand. I printed these using a 3D printer and sold them to friends and family.
I hope you got to learn more about me, my ideas, and projects
